OUR STORY
IT STARTED WITH A
SCHOOL PROJECT.
IT BECAME THE STANDARD.
Blue Collar Standard began as a school project and grew into something much bigger: a licensed apparel business built around quality, purpose, and doing things the right way.
What started with printed T-shirts became a deeper study of fabric, construction, fit, sourcing, and production. The goal was no longer to simply put a design on a shirt. It was to create apparel we could confidently put our name behind.
THE STANDARD
Every detail matters.
Fabric weight determines how a garment feels and holds its shape. The right fit changes how confidently it wears. Even color requires intention, because not every black is the same black.
That commitment to learning, testing, and improving became the standard behind everything we create: better garments, stronger construction, intentional design, and pieces made to be worn repeatedly.
WHERE IT'S BUILT
Blue Collar Standard works with sourcing and manufacturing partners in Portugal, Pakistan, and Spain. We are also developing our own custom blank with a cut-and-sew manufacturer in Portugal—built around the exact weight, structure, and fit we have been searching for.
Every garment, sample, and production decision is reviewed with the same goal: create apparel that looks right, feels substantial, and earns its place in your rotation.
WHAT'S NEXT
Built for more people.
We are developing an adaptive apparel line for people with mobility challenges. The goal is to make dressing easier without sacrificing personal style, comfort, or confidence.
Because clothing designed for more people should still look and feel like something they chose—not something they had to settle for.
HOW IT RUNS
Blue Collar Standard is an independent, family-run business. I oversee the brand's design, sourcing, production, website, and marketing. My husband manages our vendor setup, inventory transportation, and on-site operations for pop-ups and events.
We each have a distinct role, but we share the same standard: every part of the business stays hands-on, intentional, and built with care.
